
The Jewish Political Education Foundation, Inc. (JPEF) is a New York not-for-profit
corporation that is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue
Code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3). The JPEFs purposes include
the following:
To support and enhance the image of the State of Israel as a strong, democratic,
benevolent and humane nation in the world; of the Jewish people as its people and of
Zionism as the national liberation movement of the Jewish people.
To support and enhance Zionism in all its respects and aspects, the people and
institutions of the State of Israel, and the right of Israels citizens to live
within secure and defensible borders, taking into consideration the facts of history and
the never-changing hostilities of others toward them.
To fight and bring an end to the scourge of anti-Semitism, wherever it may be
found.
To support the interests of Jewish Americans, and promote awareness as to those
issues of concern to them, on a federal, state and local level.
To counter misinformation, distortion and bias in the media regarding Israel and
Jewish issues by all means possible, including publishing and disseminating information
and materials pertaining to these subjects, and serving as a clearing house for the
exchange of such information.
To solicit funds to effect the purposes described above, and to support
organizations and institutions of like purpose, to the extent permitted by law and the
rules and regulations concerning the tax-exempt status of the JPEF.
